Abstract Submission Deadline for EGPA 2026 Conference in Rome Extended

Dmytro Panchuk,

To support broader participation and ensure full alignment with the conference calendar, the abstract submission deadline for the EGPA 2026 Conference in Rome has been extended to 21 April 2026 for all calls, with the exception of the PhD Symposium.

This extension comes at a moment of strong momentum. We have already received more than 600 abstract submissions, confirming the strength, relevance, and international reach of the conference. EGPA 2026, hosted in Rome in cooperation with Sapienza University, is already establishing itself as a major meeting point for scholars and practitioners committed to advancing knowledge and practice in public administration and public policy.

EGPA 2026 will serve as a privileged forum for rigorous debate on the central challenges facing public institutions today—from democratic resilience and institutional reform to digital transformation, implementation capacity, and public sector legitimacy. Sapienza University offers not only an exceptional setting, but also a high-level environment for comparative reflection, intellectual exchange, and constructive dialogue between research and practice.

We strongly encourage colleagues who have not yet submitted to take advantage of this additional time. To support your participation, EGPA provides a range of funding opportunities for early-career researchers (Travel grant) and new study groups and initiatives (Booster grant).

We look forward to welcoming you at EGPA 2026 in Rome.
